I don’t want to give everything away all at once, but here’s a sneak peak of the progress timeline of the front porch restore.
A few key things to note when taking renos into one’s own hands:
- Leave the work up to the pros. Please don’t try your hand out on things you know nothing about. I decided to tile the washroom myself and while I am happy with the end result, I can assure you I will not be a tiling dor a very, very long time.
- Always allot more time than needed to finish a job; forks just love to stick themselves in roads so be patient and give yourself the time to jump through those hurdles.
- Enjoy the process; it’s going to be a hell of a ride and so long as you know where you’re going, the bumps won’t be so messy and terrifying.
